But what are nanopitches exactly?
"Nanopitch" what's that ?
"Nanopitch is a 100% nanoscience speech contest! It will allow young PhDs to present their thesis work in a simple and humorous way to the general public, their friends, and their family!"
3 minutes flat: the whole challenge will be to present their research topic in such a short time frame!
At the end of the presentations, it will be up to you, the general public, to vote for the best pitch of the evening!
The second prize, this will be up to a jury, made up of scientists and mediation experts, to hand it over.

A great nanoscience evening: Where? When ? For who ?
- On Wednesday 15th March 2023, from 6:00pm to 9:30pm we invite all Poitiers residents to join the scientists of the nanoscience community at the Futuroscope Convention Center for a big 100% "nanos" evening.
- Nanopitch: 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
- The Art&Sciences image awards ceremony from 8:30 p.m.
- A cocktail reception and many stands to discover to discuss nanopitch, nanoscience, art...

The Schedule
During the day, our nanoscience scientists will be attending a congress, debating and listening to lectures... In the evening, it's time for festivities with an exceptional and free evening in Poitiers to which you are all invited.
6:30 pm – 7:30 pm: Nanopitch – Eloquence contest
Nanopitch is a 100% nanoscience speech contest that allows promising young doctors to present their thesis work in just 3 minutes! Not easy, huh?
At the end of the presentations, it will be up to you, the audience, to vote for the best pitch of the evening! The second prize will be awarded by a jury made up of scientists and mediation experts.
7:30 pm - 9:30 pm: Art & Sciences Awards and Cocktail Dinner
To help you recover from your emotions, we invite you to stay with us and discover everything about a scientific congress over a free cocktail dinner. It's a great opportunity to exchange with scientists, visit numerous stands, vote for an Art & Sciences image award and discover many research professions, such as the science glassblowers!
At 8:30 pm, you can attend the Art & Sciences image awards ceremony and chat with the winners and presenting artists.
9:30 pm. We will close the doors of the Congress Center!
Who can attend this evening ?
College student? High school student? University? Philosopher? Artist ? Retired? Friend or family of scientists?…
You are all welcome! You just need to register so that we can give you access to the Congress Palace and ensure that we have enough food for everyone!
